Welcome to Recon, my personal cybersecurity knowledge base. This is where I document everything I learn while exploring the world of security - from understanding how systems work to discovering how they break and how they can be defended. Every note here is written with one goal: to build a permanent repository of knowledge that I can always return to.
Cybersecurity is an enormous field, spanning networking, operating systems, Linux and Windows internals, web security, cryptography, reverse engineering, binary exploitation, malware analysis, digital forensics, cloud security, Active Directory, penetration testing, exploit development, threat intelligence, incident response, security automation, and much more. As I study these subjects, I continuously add explanations, implementation notes, research papers, write-ups, code snippets, tools, resources, and lessons learned from hands-on practice.
Rather than treating these notes as tutorials, I think of them as a living notebook. Whenever I solve a CTF, analyze a vulnerability, read an interesting paper, build a security tool, or learn something worth remembering, it eventually finds its way into Recon. The goal isn’t to memorize everything - it’s to create a place where useful knowledge never gets lost.
Whether you’re here to browse, learn, or simply explore, I hope you find something useful. And if you’re visiting for the first time, the sidebar is the best place to start. Recon will continue to evolve alongside my journey through the constantly changing landscape of cybersecurity.
